The Chief Executives of the Faculty of Public Health, Royal Society of Public Health, Association of Directors of Public Health, UK Public Health Register, and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health UK oversee the development and work of the Network.

The Association of Directors of Public Health currently host the Network.

The Network meets approximately twice a year, to discuss and develop responses to issues of strategic importance in improving the public’s health across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Policy leads from several Network member and observer organisations meet monthly to exchange work in progress and reduce duplication of effort where possible.

The Network is currently staffed by a full-time Lead and a part-time Administrator.
