Who we are

The UK Public Health Network is a collaboration of umbrella organisations representing public health across the four nations of the United Kingdom. It was established following a summit meeting held in October 2014.

Our vision is to see the UK become the healthiest place in which to live. We aim to bring together the UK’s generic public health organisations to speak consistently, within and outside the public health system, on the strategic priorities needed to improve the public’s health and wellbeing.

Our values are:

  • Engaging: generate system-wide conversations
  • Investigating: map the emerging issues and work that needs to be done
  • Connecting: create alignment between public health bodies and policies across the UK
